Exam scheme

From the official Class X scheme of studies: Mathematics (subject code 04) is 80 marks theory + 20 marks internal = 100. Practical work is assessed under CCE as given in the official syllabus PDF.

What the official PDF covers

The board PDF includes number systems (including proofs that √2, √3 and √5 are irrational), algebra (polynomials, linear equations, quadratic equations of the form ax² + bx + c = 0, arithmetic progressions), geometry, trigonometry (including sin²A + cos²A = 1), mensuration, coordinate geometry, statistics and probability, plus a list of practical activities.
